Learner Profile - L3 Award in Education and Training

By Bill, posted

Pam Kumar recently completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course with Train Aid at our training centre in Birmingham.

Pam was already teaching before she attended the course at Selly Oak Trust School for special needs students, but signed up to further develop her teaching skills and knowledge within education. Pam was a really positive and enthusiastic character in the classroom and was constantly asking questions and getting involved in group discussions.

Pam's feedback:
"I attended the course to learn different strategies to use in my teaching practice. I found the course very informative and the support I received was brilliant. I would recommend this course to other people who want to teach. I look forward to using the information I gained from the course in my teaching practice and progressing on to the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training."

Pam put a great deal of effort into the assessments for the course and produced an excellent micro-teach that was practical and inclusive. She demonstrated a really conscientious attitude towards the written assessments and used the knowledge she had gained from the classroom days to meet all of the criteria and give lots of examples of good teaching practice. Pam can be seen below collecting her hard earned certificate from the head teacher at the  end of year teachers award assembly. We look forward to seeing Pam on the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training in the Autumn term.
