Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Assessment Processes and Practice - Online

The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is designed for candidates in managerial positions, who are responsible for overseeing the work of a team of IQAs.

This additional online module is a natural progression for those that have already achieved the initial IQA qualification and are looking to achieve the higher certificate.

What's involved?

There is one unit to complete for this qualification, which is assessed via a practical portfolio of evidence. Lead IQA candidates are required to produce evidence that illustrates they are in a management position, leading and managing a team of IQAs. 

Our electronic resources guide you through the checklist of evidence step by step, clearly explaining each criteria. You will need to show that you are supporting a minimum of two IQAs, including evidence such as minutes of meetings, standardisation activities and live observations. 

What you get out of it

Upon successful completion of this course, you will have achieved the most advanced Internal Quality Assurance qualification. You will be in a position to manage, support and develop a team of assessors and IQAs. 

This is a very attractive qualification to current or future employers, as it demonstrates your ability to manage a team effectively and develop current quality processes within an organisation.

Who's it for?

This course is designed for those that already hold the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. 

You should be in a work role where you are responsible for managing other IQAs, as you will need to produce evidence to document this. It is a generic qualification, meaning it is suitable across all industries for anyone in a managerial IQA position.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to manage and lead a team of IQAs. 

There are four learning outcomes:
  • produce a work plan for own area of responsibility
  • allocate and agree responsibilities with team members
  • monitor the progress of work in own area of responsibility and provide feedback
  • review and amend plans of work in own area of responsibility
