Expect to learn the following topics on the course:

  • Primary Survey (DRABCD)
  • Unconscious Casualty
  • Recovery Position
  • Adult Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Choking casualty
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Why this course?

Level 2 Basic Life Support should be taken if you require a basic understanding of first aid. This includes GP surgeries, dentistry, sports coaches and many other industries.

The qualification is valid for three years; however some industries require an annual refresher to keep skills as up to date as possible.

Most importantly the skills taught on basic life support can empower the learner to assist a casualty who has suffered a sudden illness or major accident - prior to the arrival of more qualified personnel.

When training larger groups in-house training can work out to be more cost effective than individuals being sent to classroom locations.
