About this course

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Assessment Processes and Practice (previously V1) focuses on verifying the decisions and competencies of assessors.

The course has two units:
  1.  Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment 
  2.  Internally assure the quality of assessment 

The course assessment is a portfolio of evidence that consists of a written assignment for Unit 1 and practical IQA evidence monitoring two assessors for Unit 2.

Once booked, candidates are emailed access instructions and can then begin. The course consists of four interactive modules, which combine theory, questions, puzzles and videos. This can be completed on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The online course is a learning process whereby it is possible to redo incorrect answers and it concludes with a 10 question multiple choice assessment.
