About this course

Safeguarding children training is designed to set the learner up with the tools they need to deal with a disclosure of abuse from a child. This can be distressing and this course will help break down how to deal with the conversation and how to effectively pass on the information to the appropriate person / channels. The course has six sections which combine theory, puzzles, videos and questions. The interactive format is designed to be used on computers, smartphones and tablets. Upon enrollment learners are emailed a link and can begin the course, taking breaks where necessary.

Safeguarding children online is assessed through multiple choice questions at the end of the online course. The course takes roughly 1.5 hours to complete.
