About this course

Safeguarding children training is designed to set the learner up with the tools they need to deal with a disclosure of abuse from a child. This can be distressing, and this course will help break down how to handle the conversation and how to effectively pass the information to the appropriate person / channel. The course has six sections, which combine theory, puzzles, videos, and questions. The interactive format is designed for use on computers, smartphones, and tablets. Upon enrollment, learners receive an email link and can begin the course, taking breaks as needed.

Safeguarding children online is assessed through multiple-choice questions at the end of the online course. The course takes roughly 1.5 hours to complete.
