First Aid at Work Refresher (2 day)

The course aims to refresh current knowledge and update learners with any changes to the guidelines.

Learners will have already completed a full first aid at work course previously and will need to be prepared to refresh their practical skills during the classroom day (6 hours). The classroom day is assessed through practical observation and multiple choice questions.

An e-learning course (6 hours) is sent to learners at the time of booking which can be completed on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The e-learning course provides on-going assessment through questioning, puzzles and interactive content.

Topics Covered:

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn the full range of first aid skills available in the workplace. This includes construction workers, hospitality (including events), factories and warehouses (where machinery is used).

It is recommended that low risk businesses who are responsible for over 100 people should have at least one person certified in first aid at work e.g. schools. Within high risk industries all first aiders should complete this course.

Learners whose current certificates have expired by more than 28 days should enrol on the Level 3 First Aid at Work (3 Day) qualification.

The certificate cannot be used for individual trainers registering with Qualsafe & Highfield or security trainers registering with Highfield. It is recognised by all other awarding bodies.
