This knowledge-only unit can equip aspiring IQAs and line managers with a greater understanding of what is required to be an IQA, as well as the theoretical and practical processes involved.

About this course

This introductory unit can be used for recognised prior learning (RPL) on the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) course. The 12 credits can be carried over to the full qualification as and when the learner is ready to train towards a full IQA role.

Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment is a distance-learning module that requires no attendance.
