How Can I Teach Hairdressing?

Has life become too stressful in the salon? Possibly looking for a career change?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course allows you to teach any specialised subject area that you are experienced in. Upon its conclusion you will be qualified to train others unsupervised, and may be able to apply for teaching positions within hairdressing academies and colleges.

Training is a growing field and it allows you to help others start their own career within hairdressing. Good rates of pay are available to qualified trainers, with even the opportunity to become self employed and set up your very own academy.

The full course information can be found here

The course requires 3 days of classroom attendance. During this time you will prepare for a practical session on day three. Here you will deliver your very own micro lesson to the group and watch / support each other.

The theoretical knowledge gained from the taught lectures and discussions on the course will be used to write three essays. Help is given to start these, but you will typically finish them at home post course. Train Aid will mark a draft copy of each essay for you.

Once the final essays are submitted and marked you will be awarded with a nationally recognised teaching qualification. This will look great on your CV and help you move forward with your career.

Can you not get the time off work? If so consider our distance learning course.
